What We Fund
Dementia
Dementia is a well-known syndrome but there is still lots of support needed for those at the various stages of the disease. While the bigger work takes place at a national level, we want to support those living with Dementia (and their Carers) across our funding area by seeking out; support services, groups and organisations pushing the boundaries on the variety of care available.

Workplace Training & Development
There is significant coverage on the pressures for Workforce Training and Development in the Health and Social care sector, we want to open up routes and opportunities for those wanting to enter the sector and support those within it who need attention.
Carers
•We want to support Carers (both paid and unpaid) for the work that they do, the value they add and selfless dedication to supporting their communities. We want to support access for Carers to advice and guidance services, networks of support and peers who can share experiences and provide assistance.

Partnerships & Innovation
We see Partnership and Innovation as a key focus for the short and long term in the Health and Social sector. With the current cost pressures, and on the back of the acceleration of tech-based innovations driven during COVID, innovation will be key to the scaling up and accessibility of support moving forward. For those same pressures we believe there is an increased need for partnerships and collaboration to strengthen positions of organisations and the groups they represent over the coming years.
